In IE6.0 how to parent element fixed width

As in the following code if second UL width is wider than its parent UL, in the IE6.0 parent UL width value becomes a child element width, such as the first parent UL width is 100, if UL width is 120, in the IE6.0 parent UL becomes 120, in IE6.0 the parent UL width is fixed and not with UL changes.
