LINUX opens allowing foreign access network port command

Recommended for you: Get network issues from WhatsUp Gold. Not end users.

LINUX with the following commands can be opened to allow foreign access network port:

/sbin/iptables -I INPUT -p TCP --dport 8000 -j ACCEPT # open port 8000

/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables save # save configuration

/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables restart # restart service

The port is already open:
/etc/init.d/iptables status
