    Today in the test by JAVA remote AIX host, suddenly thought of Linux before installing Hadoop, but do not try to Aix, would like to know whether Hadoop is installed under the Aix what will be different, so be prompted by a sudden impulse to install it again, recording the process is as follows:
     1 installed in the Aix decompression software, install Java, here is not to say.
     Download the Hadoop0.21.0 version 2, and unzip it to a specific directory, here to extract /home/cqq/hadoop-0.21.0
    3 set up the Hadoop environment variable
export HADOOP_HOME=/home/cqq/hadoop-0.21.0
export HADOOP_CONF_DIR=/home/cqq/hadoop-0.21.0/conf
export PATH=$PATH:$HADOOP_HOME/bin;
    4 set up after the test is the Buddha is successfully installed, enter the Hadoop, we obtain the following tips:
[bash: A file or directory in the path name does not exist.]
This is because the default AIX is used in KSH, some bash operation is not supported on this shell, so first download and install the bash corresponding to the packet.
Download: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/power/software/aix/linux/toolbox/alpha.html, please download and AIX version corresponds to the RPM version, I'm here to download the bash-4.2-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm.
RPM packets will be uploaded to the AIX server and install: RPM -ivh bash-4.2-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm, after the installation of Hadoop JAVA_HOME is that input again, not set.OK, set the JAVA_HOME.
      5 input into Hadoop again, they have similar [Usage: Hadoop [--config] confdir] COMMAND tips, that have been successfully installed.
        6 start Hadoop, may let the set key things, according to the prompts,.
Description: here is the installation of stand-alone version of the test, as for similar real cluster version of the installation, configuration of master and slave.
