Installation of Linux Tomcat JDK

Tomcat7

JDK 1.6

Do not look at the simple settings, also with a long time. Was recorded.

Tomcat7 download or a better solution, direct website found. JDK1.6 for Linux was so difficult to find (website is 1.7, I do not know how 1.6.. For Ming Lu), okay! Finally, I was in the CSDN download. So sharing.

I use the bin file JDK.

Direct./jdk-6u33-linux-i586.bin.. In the wrong: ./jdk-6u33-linux-i586.bin: ./install.sfx.37057: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF

I have a solution in another article:

After bin success. Set JDK

#vi /etc/profile

Add

export JAVA_HOME=/usr/dev/jdk1.6
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$JAVA_HOME/jre/bin:$PATH
export CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME/lib:$JAVA_HOME/lib:$CLASSPATH

Ps:jdk to go.

# source /etc/profile  ##The effect of environmental variables

To make the JDK used for all users, so:
vi /etc/profile.d/java.sh
Enter the following in the new java.sh:
#set java environment
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/dev/jdk1.6
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$JAVA_HOME/jre/bin:$PATH
export CLASSPATH=.:$JAVA_HOME/lib:$JAVA_HOME/lib:$CLASSPATH
Save and exit, and then to assign permissions java.sh: chmod 755 /etc/profile.d/java.sh

#Java -version view the Java version. Have a look set to or not

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>TOMCAT set up>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

In the same

#vi /etc/profile

Add the following path

export TOMCAT_HOME=/usr/dev/tomcat7/

Remember to confirm settings take effect. .

Start Tomcat

[root@localhost bin]# ./startup.sh
Using CATALINA_BASE:   /usr/dev/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_HOME:   /usr/dev/tomcat7
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/dev/tomcat7/temp
Using JRE_HOME:        /usr/dev/jdk1.6
Using CLASSPATH:       /usr/dev/tomcat7/bin/bootstrap.jar:/usr/dev/tomcat7/bin/tomcat-juli.jar

To see these things done. .

The browser input:

Can access.~.
